Ibiza Town is known as the most fantastic part of the Island. Being the capital of Ibiza, the town is bustling day and night making it a popular holiday destination.

Ibiza Town offers the razzle and dazzle you would expect from a holiday in Ibiza, but as well as hosting a vibrant party scene, the town also boosts elegant restaurants, a rich history, an intriguing old port and gorgeous natural coves and countryside.

Ibiza Town is surrounded by cobbled streets and winding lanes meaning it's an interesting and exciting place to holiday. Ibiza Town maintains a typical Mediterranean climate. Hot summers with clear blue skies from May to September are the norm, followed by a cooler, yet still a warm climate.

There are so many restaurants in Ibiza Town you'll be spoilt for choice. There are three specific popular dining areas: Dalt Vila (the old walled town). This is a romantic square, full of picturesque restaurants. Sa Penya (the old fishermen's quarter) is where you will find all the ‘beautiful people'. The cobbled streets are back to back with restaurants and bars. It's easy to find as the two streets run along the back of the main port road. The Port is full of trendy eateries with a stylish ambience. This is also the area where the club parade starts so you can enjoy your meal while watching a spectacular performance.

There isn't a vast choice of accommodation in Ibiza Town so you may wish to stay nearby in Talamanca or Figueretas, both places are on the beach. Ibiza Town's port is renowned for its late night shopping. You'll find a wealth of shops that keep the doors open well past midnight, you'll be spoilt for choice for holiday souvenirs. There's something for everyone in Ibiza Town, take a trip down La Calle De La Virgen (the street of virgins) to visit the colourful gay scene, swamped with unusual shops.

If you fancy escaping the bustle of Ibiza Town and want to a bit of relaxation on your holiday, head to the islet of Espalmador at the Northern point of the Island. Here you can spend the day lounging in mud baths and basking on the white sand dunes. Alternatively take a boat ride from the port to Formentera in order to soak up local traditions. Formentera is only 30 mins away from Ibiza Town has fantastic beaches, including a nudist beach, great seafood restaurants for a leisurely lunch and spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed here!
