San Antonio is the second largest town on the island of Ibiza and is definitely its clubbing capital, suitable for those looking for a holiday where the party never stops. Throughout the high season months of July and August, San Antonio is a destination for the 18 to 30's, full of young holiday makers enjoying the many bars and clubs the resort has on offer. However San Antonia Bay is great for families throughout May & June, September & October.

Whilst San Antonio Bay offers a wonderful beach, popular in the quieter months with families, San Antonio itself does not. For holiday makers staying in San Antonio the beautiful beaches of Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida, Cala Gracio, Cala Salada and Cala Bassa are all just a short ferry or bus ride away. Another popular excursion for tourists is the San Antonio Express, a small road train that can take you either inland to the picturesque Santa Ines Valley or to the view point of El Murador where you can enjoy the amazing views over the whole of the island.

For those whose holiday is all about having fun, San Antonio has a buzzing nightlife, which is mainly centred on Sunset Strip, a street lined with bars and restaurants, amongst which are the legendary Cafe del Mar and Bar Mambo. Relax, listen to music and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the Mediterranean. San Antonio is also home to two of Ibiza's 'super clubs'. Trendy Eden is famous for its foam parties and operates a strict dress code whilst Es Paradis is home to an eclectic mix of music and a weekly water party. Clubs stay open well into the morning hours and offer a truly unique 'Ibiza' experience.

Lining the Strip are a wide variety of restaurants, however they are mainly aimed at the pre-clubbing crowd and therefore quality is not always guaranteed. For the holiday maker wanting to sample more of the gastronomical delights of San Antonio head out to the upmarket area of Club Nautico near the marina. Here you will find charming local restaurants offering good quality seafood and regional dishes. A firm favourite on the San Antonio restaurant scene is Sa Capella situated on the edge of town. Housed in a former monastery, the restaurant offers an excellent dining experience.

Accommodation is available to suit all budgets and tastes with luxury hotels and apartments sitting alongside budget options. Families are advised to choose an option in the quieter, more family orientated area of San Antonio Bay whilst those wishing to be in the thick of the vibrant nightlife should choose somewhere closer to San Antonio.
