Nestled in a sheltered bay on the south west corner of Tenerife, Los Cristianos has a working port with pleasant beaches and good quality restaurants. Los Cristianos offers a relaxed holiday base for families and couples with plenty more activities in the larger resort of Playa de las Americas just a short taxi ride away.
The resort's star beach is the man-made Playa de la Vista, with soft imported sands from the Sahara. A wide promenade links Los Cristianos to the neighbouring beaches of Playa de las Americas.

Local handicrafts make good souvenirs which can picked up at Los Cristianos' weekly market held every Sunday. There are plenty of supermarkets available stocking well known British brands.
Los Cristianos has a good range of bars and a few discos and enjoys a generally lively holiday scene. Those looking for even more partying places can head to the neighbouring resort of Playa de las Americas which is just a short taxi ride away. The round the clock entertainment on Playa's Las Veronicas strip will keep even wildest party animals satisfied.
Los Cristianos has plenty of daytime activities to enjoy including a varied choice of water sports. Island sightseeing cruises, whale-watching tours and fishing trips can be caught from the town's harbour. Further afield visit the Mount Teide nature park with walking trips to the island's only active volcano.
